Clinical Psychotherapist

Sarah Miller is a clinical psychotherapist who brings warmth, wit, and genuine care to every client she’s works with. She’s always been drawn to the stories that shape us and offers a supportive space to explore their experiences openly and without judgment.

She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Legal Studies, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Centenary University. During her undergraduate years, she rode on the university’s hunter/jumper equestrian team.

Grounded in evidence-based practice, Sarah’s therapeutic approach is shaped by the belief that healing isn’t linear. She uses a person-centered, eclectic blend of techniques, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). She works with adolescents, teens, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. She believes that by unpacking and understanding the core of our thoughts, we can better navigate out emotions and behaviors.

Sarah’s clinical experience includes intensive outpatient (IOP), private practice, and equine-assisted therapy, along with group work and trauma-informed care.

Outside of the office, she enjoys the vibrant, beautiful complexities of her life. She grew up as a gymnast and cheerleader and still enjoys being active, especially through riding her horse. She has a love for music, tattoos, and makeup. Her interests range from reading to watching football, and she values quality time with friends and family. She appreciates depth, humor, creativity, and compassion. Her office is your verbal diary—made to support growth and healing.
