Joseph Schweighardt, MA, LPC

oe Schweighardt earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State University and his Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Montclair State University. Joe has experience working in the public school system as a school psychologist for 11 years before transitioning to full-time private therapy as a Licensed Professional Counselor. 

Joe works with individuals with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD and trauma. He utilizes a client-centered approach that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of those he is working with.  In addition, he uses his extensive experience working in the public school system to support children, adolescents, and their families as they navigate the complexities of growing up. Joe works with clients to help them learn and apply tools for regulating emotions, expressing their needs and wants, and navigating everyday challenges. Joe is committed to empowering those he is working with to attain personal goals and to live a fulfilling life.

Joe enjoys spending time with family. He is passionate about music as he plays bass, guitar, and piano. Joe enjoys spending time outside and going for a round of disc golf.
